I’m getting a .1 DB on my screen , I’m also seeing a nipón the new fiber splice cable with a .1 db reading , is that normal

The reading of 0.1 is too high, and it should be less than 0.08 normally. It is recommended to clean the V groove. The optical fiber needs to be cleaned with alcohol before cutting, and the end face of the optical fiber should be cut flat when cutting.
