The combiner boxes are designed to mate 2 or 3 panels per string depending on the voltage per panel. 3- 38 volt panels per string would be 114 volts. This box would connect 18 panels to your charge controller. More important to size the charge controller total wattage input.
This PV Combiner Box has a total of 6 inputs, each capable of handling up to 7500W of power. As long as the maximum current of each way is not higher than 15A and the maximum voltage of each way is not higher than 500VDC, it can be used normally.

I haven’t connected mine yet so not sure. 1/0 AWG is very large and likely oversized for what you need. Size the wire according to the breaker inside. This will likely result in a 6 or 8/0AWG wire
