The refrigerant is pre-charged in the outdoor unit at the factory. After the split-type air conditioner is installed, there is air in the indoor unit and pipes. A vacuum pump must be used to purge the air from the indoor unit and pipes before opening the valves on the outdoor unit to allow the refrigerant to flow into the pipes and indoor unit to ensure cooling performance. Failure to evacuate will significantly affect the cooling effect.

This product is pre-charged with refrigerant at the time of manufacture.
