hello
thinking about buying. Is it still durable if you do not put tile on the outside
Is assembly difficult ?are there videos showing installation
I actually returned mine since there is no way to cut it to a specific shape without removing the special gray fabric around the whole block.

Easy. Use thinset on the areas the bench will contact and press the bench in place. I’d use go board sealant to seal the joints. It’s ready for tile. Kerdi fabric can also seal the joints.

Does this goes on top of the pre sloped waterproof pan and against hardie backer?
Yes, level it out with tile cement butter the back that goes against the backer. Water proof then tile

When adding to a shower that has already been installed. Is it okay to tile the bench? Also could this bench be placed on top of a pre-sloped foam shower pan with the membrane and secured with mortar?
