If you want to heat for an extended period without the timer automatically shutting off, you need to remove the two wires on the back of the timer, short-circuit them, and wrap them with electrical tape. Make sure to wrap them properly to prevent electric leakage. However, note that short-circuiting the wires will void the warranty.
