How much space needs to be left on either or both sides for ventilation if this is placed in the center of a counter workspace without the casters, instead of at the end of the counter workspace? Can the cabinets on either side be flush against the unit? Thank You.

It doesn’t matter for left and right, it is recommended to reserve 5cm at the back.

I did not find any relevant information about the compressor requiring frequent maintenance. The product description states it has an Embraco compressor with finned copper tubes that ensure fast cooling and a constant temperature.
