I doubt it would work to "slice" oranges. It might be used to "squeeze" the orange for juice but I doubt it would be efficient for that either. Probably more mess then it would be worth.

I have never tried that. I think it might work, the blades are very sharp. It will be a little messy though

I have this chopper and love it, but it is not something that I would expect to work well with oranges.
Apples - yes. Oranges - no.
They are too soft and don't have a core.

I have only used mine for fries. But all the blades are sharp as can be. It would cut an orange no problem
