We have 3 steps and will install one railing at an angle going up the step and the second on level on the porch. Is the assembly the same? I believe the middle connectors would have the widest portion at the bottom. Do the top connectors still both face in the same direction?

I have 2 steps porch I’m not sure how to measure for hand railings
