If I dont install the shelves and knife rack and the holes are predrilled for installation of shelves and Knife rack what do I fill the holes with?

Is it ok to put outside kitchen

Is the knife shelf an option for installation? (I understand it comes with the backsplash, can I leave it off)

Is the spice rack adjustable? Or is it a separate piece and you install to your liking?

Are the holes pre-drilled for the storage shelf and the knife shelf? I have a microwave going in rather than a hood and I'd like to be able to custom place the storage shelf and not use the knife shelf. Or do you have another product that would fit this need?
