What is the interior construction or reinforcement of the poles? Does it have two crossed ribs running the entire length of the pole?

Don't really understand the question..but the poles are solid metal..with very good mesh between them...the mesh is attached to the pole at 3 locations....what I like is I can remove the attachment plate so I can adjust the length of the fence which comes in 12 foot sections...good luck

What wind velocity can this hold up against?

I would say not much. We use a rubber mallet to install ( when using). For us it is a temporary solution to create a barrier to better manage an area we want avoided Works for us as we don’t want anything permanent around our pool
