On the back of my unit is a round sticker Gray in color, and if partially peeled there is a white circular foam like. should it be removed?
This grey sticker covers the foam injection hole on the back of the unit. It does not need to be removed, you can use the product as‑is.

2: What kind of water should best be used? Distilled, Filtered tap water, unfiltered tap water?
Does "door reversing" mean the direction the door opens? If that's what you mean, then the opening direction is fixed and cannot be changed. It's best to use purified water.
