When mounted on a wall, does it mount flush to the wall, or does it extend away from the wall? Can it be mounted away from wall surface, yet attached to wall so it clears a window ledge when in up position?
It is best to install it flush with the wall, but if the installation is firm, it can also be installed by extension, but make sure the motor is fixed.
