What is the depth/dimension of the stand? Need to determine how far off the wall a cabinet would need to be in front of it.

Does this come with a top plate so it could lift the lid of an outdoor tv box?

With the TV that we have attached to it the back bracket does sit slightly higher than the TV. I don't think it is made to attach something to it. But the weight capacity and the bracket could be fitted to make it lift a lid. That is my plan. I have the lid made. I just need to attach it and it will work great.
