If the water fully freezes solid in cold winter, expanding ice will crack the PVC canvas liner. Two solutions: 1. Drain all water, clean and store it indoors frost-free; 2. Keep water circulating with pond de-icer/aerator to avoid full ice-up, add thermal cover for insulation to prevent cracking.
