The box I am considering has an exterior depth of 6" and an interior depth of 4.6". Is the interior depth with the mounting plate installed?

I'm interested in the 16x12x6 & 24x24x8 NEMA1 Steel Enclosures, but will be bringing 2" EMT conduit from bottom & top. Can I get boxes without the rectangle bottom plates?

The standard of this product is a rectangular inlet and outlet plate at the bottom. It is not possible to customize products with a bottom inlet and outlet plate. You can consider drilling holes in other locations yourself.

Had to remove the metal back plate and mount what I had to the back plate. I ordered mine with a lock kit. You may be able to order a perforated back plate as an option.

what are the dimensions of the bottom opening?
