I just got mine in and have a question the user manual can not answer. It does not explain how to adjust the frequency. I chose to purchased this model so I could use a lower frequency of 36khz but the manual says it is only 40khz. I see controls for time, heat and power regulation, but there is no explanation as to what PR means in the manual, and on the machine I can adjust PR from 1-6 but the manual does not explain what the difference is.

The 1-6 gears of this machine are actually for adjusting power, not frequency modulation. The nominal frequency of the machine is 40kHz. The actual frequency of the ultrasonic cleaning machine is not fixed during operation, but fluctuates dynamically in the range of 33-40.
