Yes it will! You can make the frame smaller or bigger, height and width. I added a lengthy curtain to make it fuller in the background, which I slid right into the top pole. Also bought these clips to hold the actual banner up over the curtain. I really like this stand, the legs get covered up, so they're not in the photos.

What is the width of the top and the bottom poles? I have a banner with poles slots and need to ensure they will fit

Will this stand work for a banner that only has pole pockets at the top? It doesn’t have any grommets for me to use zip ties to attach it to the stand

how much weight can it support?

I have 3 of these so clearly I'm happy with them, but the answer is not a lot. I use them to hold up sheers or somewhat light weight curtains and they work great. I used them once with heavy drapes and the top rod sagged quite a bit in the middle.
