there are molded connectors one side a male nub, other side a slot for the nubs. this locks the pieces in place. If you cut this very heavy thick plastic (which in and of itself would require major industrial cutters) the wouldn't lock. these are meant to be heavy duty so cars can even drive over it and protect the cables ... not a goo idea to try to cut.

Only the end as long as you don't ever need to connect to another piece of ramp.

It probably could be bolted down, but it really isn't meant for permanent installation like that. These are constructed from molded (tough) plastic. The mounting points for bolting it down would be on an angle that has space between the ramp and the floor. No flat surfaces really to secure to the floor with screws or bolts.

I suppose you could. You'd have to drill through about a half inch of dense rubber to create holes for the bolts. How securely it stays put will depend on what you're bolting it to and what kind of bolts you're using. Good luck!

I used concrete screws and fender washers with construction adhesive. So far so good. But mine are hit at walking speed so not much force against them.

That is what I am using them for, but if on asphalt or concrete I would recommend caulk or construction adhesive as well as screwing them down because water will run under them without some form of sealant. also arrange them so water can gravity drain to one end
