will it run on 24v?
No, this winch is designed strictly for a 12V DC power supply. Connecting or operating it on a 24V system will overload and burn out the motor and control box.

what size of battery connection are you using, it looks like a 50 amp anderson style, if it draws 210amps, then it should require the 350amp connector with 2/0 ,cable correct
Factory Setup: The winch comes with a 50 Amp quick-connect plug, which is sufficient for light-duty, short-duration recovery pulls. Heavy-Duty Use: If you intend to operate the winch continuously or near its maximum capacity, upgrading to a 175 Amp Anderson-style connector paired with 4 AWG or 2 AWG pure copper cable will easily support the full 140A peak draw without power loss or overheating. A 350A connector and 2/0 cable are not necessary for this 1.3 HP model.

Thank you for reaching out and providing the specific details for the 4,000 lbs (1.3 HP) winch model! Because this unit features a 1.3 HP motor, its maximum current draw under a full load is approximately 120 to 140 Amps (rather than 210 Amps). Here is how that impacts the electrical setup:

Can a truck 7 pin trailer power the winch or is the winch amperage draw too high? What amperage is needed to operate the winch
It is not recommended. It can barely work under light loads for a short time, but it will fail completely under full load and easily burn out the wiring, fuse or plug. Reasons: Most factory wiring harnesses are thin 14~16AWG wires, with a vehicle fuse rating of only 15A~20A. The thin wires and small contact surfaces on the plug only support a continuous safe current of ≤20A, with a short-term peak maximum of 30A. 210 amps of current are required to operate this winch.
