One review said no switch, how do you change form high to low speed if there is no switch?

Dear customer, This dual-speed pool pump does NOT have a manual switch on the pump itself. To change between high and low speed: Turn OFF the power to the pump. Switch the external power source (timer, control box, or wall switch) to the other speed connection. It uses a dual-winding motor, so speed is controlled by external wiring/switch, not a button on the pump.

I just purchased the HAP1500A-2/4 pump, and it comes pre-wired with a standard 110v plug, which plugs into an outlet - it works well. How do I configure/wire this pump for LOW speed, given that it comes pre-wired?

Can a timer be installed and rewired to selected between the two speeds? Basically disabling the switch and like using a sprinkler timer and diving it into two zones. Zone 1 for high speed and zone 2 for low speed??
