Anyone very tried to make a Bandit fishing pole out of it ?
In theory, it’s feasible. You’ll need to extend the line arm from the original cantilever and modify the main spindle to accommodate a heavy-duty reel with a flange to hold several hundred meters of fishing line.

is the base mount made of plastic? One review stated the plastic base mount broke and he lost his hauler over the boat. If that does happen, is that covered under warranty? I own an arc and need another holler. I’m willing to try yours. but I don’t want to spend that kind of money if something’s gonna go over the side of the boat.
Made of Plastic.

I know it says it operates on 12 V DC. Does it need a certain amount of amperage? Will it run with the same power and speed from a 225 hp outboard, as it will from an inboard/ outboard or an outboard???
Yes, it requires a high amperage 12V DC power source, and it will not run with the same power and speed from a 225 hp outboard as from an inboard/outboard or other outboards.
