I saw several answers as to the reading of locator. One said it could find locator up to within 5 meters. So, if drain is (and mine are) 3 meters deep but less than 4 meters deep will you be able to find if standing over them?

There is no interference at 5 meters. Without any obstruction, the detection distance in the pipeline is within 1.5 meters.

Whats the smallest pipe this will work in? We are using for pool plumbing inspection.

Pipes larger than 23 mm can be used, and pipes with 90-degree turns are not smaller than 60 mm.
