This is something you can adjust yourself. Generally speaking, it is 30-300 mesh. The distance between the grinding discs determines the fineness of the ground powder.
I've been grinding whole corn into powdered corn and been mixing it with my high protein quail feed. Hope this helps with your question. It's a great machine and works just fine for grinding.
metal ones crack the corn, take them out, put the sand ones in to get meal or flour and from there i guess you could. I make wheat flour with mine but you have to use the wet disc as the chinese put it.
