With the single acting electric valve, does the pump hold when the foot pedal is released, or does it spring back? if it's able to hold the load, how do you release the pressure? (I didn't see anything in the manual)
There may still be air inside the new hydraulic pump plunger. The exhaust screw is inside the oil tank, so just open the oil tank filler port, then repeatedly start the motor for 20 seconds and then close it several times to complete the exhaust work.
A distribution valve will be needed. The single-acting solenoid valve has only one oil outlet. This oil outlet needs to be connected to a diverter valve with three oil outlets and one oil inlet, as shown in the figure: https://we.tl/t-VBoU6Xr6TM.
