2 Questions. 1. Does it detect when the engine is running or do I need to add a remote wire? And 2, is the charging output adjustable?
1. Cannot detect whether the generator is running; the output voltage can be adjusted using a key.

Does this not support the charging of solar and dc to dc simultaneously? I have to unhook solar for dc to dc to work properly...
They cannot operate simultaneously; solar power takes priority.
