Reading the manual and looking at the dip switch keys, there is no setting depicted for 12 volt gell batteries! All of the depicted settings will destroy the batteries. I need reliable instructions for the correct dip settings for 12 volt gell batteries.

If i run a dedicated 4AWG to the positive side of both batteries with a 100 amp circuit breaker and disconnect input side of charger, can i parallel both batteries via breaker to charge both on SOLAR ONLY via xt60 input

How do i know if the charger is giving me 30amps

The most reliable way to confirm 30A output is to measure the output cable with a DC clamp ammeter. The charger will only deliver 30A when sufficient input power is available and the battery is able to accept that charge rate.

No, it will not automatically switch to maintain your truck's start battery in storage. This charger only flows power backward for emergency jump-starting, not for daily trickle-charging. In fact, leaving it connected long-term without solar or shore power will cause the charger's own standby power to drain both batteries even faster. Best Solution: Connect a small, dedicated 20W–50W solar trickle charger directly to your truck battery to offset the security camera drain while parked.
