I'm looking to put a lock or jam nut on the threaded rod. What size nut would be needed for the threaded rod? I measure the threaded rod OD at 1.172 inch or 29.7 mm. I count approx 8.0 to 8.5 threads per inch.

This M30 nut, but the extra one can't be installed. The front top plate is welded shut.
