1) My trailer tailgate is 32 in tall. Is the minimum height for use of this tailgate lift 4 - 6 ft specifically? 2) Is there instruction included on where the bolt placement should be on the side of the of my 32 in gate and 3) where on my trailer side rail to mount the Vevor lift assist? 4) Also is there a specific driver vs passenger engineer preference on which side to mount the one-side lift assist?

No. This lift assist is designed for 4–6 ft tailgates, so a 32-inch tailgate is outside the specified range. Installation instructions are included with the recommended mounting locations, and it can be installed on either the driver or passenger side.
