This distiller has no use for filters. Distillers work on the principle of evaporation and condensation. An electric heating element boils water in a stainless steel tank. The resulting steam leaves the tank and enters a stainless steel cooling coil. In the cooling coil, the steam condenses to form distilled water. The distilled water accumulates in the pot.

I don't have mine anymore as the tank began leaking after about two months of use. So I can't answer your question.

Well I had that problem so don't use the filters. I imagine you tried that though. At first I liked this product and thought it was pretty good overall, but it failed after 5 months, and after contacting customer support 4 times with no follow up, I decided to avoid VEVOR products completely.
