Where do fuses go. Are they apart of the set up.

On a camper I am building, I have the 2500 inverter, and just turning on my little 5 cup coffee maker makes it beep, and what is that beeping mean? Do I have to run the #4 gage wire directly to the connectors on the back, without any splices? Also, I have 2×100-watt 12 volt batteries hooked in parallel, 8' away, and charging panels connected to the batteries. Why is there 3 outlets on it when you can only use a maximum of 2 it sounds like to me? Do I need a larger inverter? Thanks.

What amp hour battery do you need for 2500 watt inverter

Does the 2500W inverter housing needs to be grounded? (besides the +pos & -neg cables) on the manual (which covers all models) says it is supposed to be grounded, even talks about a terminal fitted with a nut for connecting a groundidg cable on the rear panel, but on my inverter there is no such terminal anywhere, can you please let me know what is the correct way to connect my inverter safely? thanks in advance for your help.
