Does it work with older Mercury outboard models?
Based on the product information, this throttle control box is designed for Mercury PT 2-stroke outboard motors. It does not specify compatibility with older Mercury outboard models. For confirmation on compatibility with your specific older Mercury outboard model, it would be best to consult with an expert in marine equipment.

will this replace original throttle assembly for 2005 mercury 9.9hp 4-stroke?
It should. As long as the connection is the same pin setup. The only wires that you will not use is trim and tilt. I don’t think you have trim and tilt on your motor. The trim and tilt wires are the three lose wires on the end of the harness.

Will this fit 06 mercury two stroke 60 hp
Thank you for your inquiry. This VEVOR remote control box (881170A15) is designed as a replacement for Mercury outboard motors. It is generally compatible with most Mercury outboards that use the 8-pin or 14-pin connector system. However, for a 2006 60HP 2-stroke model, please verify if your engine harness uses the 8-pin plug. If your engine utilizes this standard connection, it should be compatible.
