What is the difference between the diesel tank and the diesel/gasoline tank?

The fuel pumps are different; diesel tanks use diesel pumps, while diesel/gasoline tanks use gasoline pumps. The outer material of the fuel tanks is also different; diesel/gasoline tanks use anti-static and UV-resistant materials.

I would like to mount this on my trailer. I need to reach about 30-35' when I park it and reach my equipment. Is it okay to extend the hose 30-35' to reach? What type of fitting do you use for the nozzle or hose if I can?

Why can the fuel hose not be extended, if it uses standard fittings? I need to add a 20' section so it can reach further.
