Why does the weight capacity matter at all? Right now our bed sits on a wooden box so we are going to unscrew the top and attach this to it. So that piece of plywood would would be supported by the frame underneath it. Another confusing factor is most couples way more than 300 pounds. Can you clarify?
Load capacity refers to the weight the bed frame and mattress can support. As long as the wooden box isn’t damaged, it doesn’t matter how much the couple weighs.
