Measure the width of the drawer unit and add 1/4 “. That’s your masonry rough opening. The front edge will conceal any gap. Before installing, turn upside down and drill a hole centered and about 4 inches from the front. Slide the unit in place, open drawer and use a masonry bit to install a Tapcon screw to anchor it. That’s it.

You would have to make a box frame of 2x4—the bottom one would have to be anchored into the ground. The ones on the side of the frame I think you could secure them from the outside with screws going inside into the 2x4 and just cover them with concrete caulk.

I had a custom cabinet built with the exact dimensions for the trash drawer. The cabinet guy slid it in the opening he made for it, but did have to put a couple of thin slats underneath to make it level.
