Does the electrical wire into the heater or is it a wall outlet plug type?

Can this be installed on its side? (I’m trying to replace my old water heater for this one but it’s a slot with a door- so this heater needs to be able to fit of the rv door laying on its side.

The inlet and outlet of our water heater are on the side. A TP valve needs to be installed on the top. Please check whether your installation environment meets the requirements.
