Cleaning the panel you are working on is key to getting a good pull but so is temperature of the glue and the panel you are working on. The gun provided needs to sit a while to come up to full temperature, even though it may leak glue, it is probably too cool. Cleaning the panel with 99% Alcohol will get most wax and debris off but not always. Then the temp of the panel and pulling tip. Panel must be 80+ Fahrenheit for most glues to stick. Too hot though, you can damage the paint surface. Get a wrecking yard panel, a hood or a door works great to practice on. Get good then move onto real surfaces, you won't regret your training when you do a great job on a operating vehicle, especially your own. check out the Youtube University and type in "Why won't your PDR tabs stick?" Use a different glue the glue it came with ant grate and I soaked mine in rubbing alcohol overnight, then let it air dry afterwards

Yes it provides one in the kit however the one I received did not work but I had one of my own so I did not complain to the company about it. And the kit itself other then the glue gun works great I removed all the dents out of my car I was very happy with the rest of the kit. I do wish the yellow strip board had a light it only works as a reflection and it pretty much unless.

Yes . You can remove any residue of glue with plain alcohol or mineral spirits.
