Hello, as long as it is a Weldon handle type blade, it can be used. The handle is 3/4 inch (19.05mm).

What kind of coolant/cutting oil should be used?

I used clear thread cutting oil I purchased from Menards. Drilled ten 1/2" holes in one sitting, neither the cutter nor the metal even got warm. I was drilling thru a heavy steel Kubota loader bucket.
