If I put wrestling mats on top of it, will moisture get trapped under or will it be able to breathe where moisture can get out and not accumulate mold or mildew?
Hi, we do NOT recommend covering it with wrestling mats. This pool sand filter pump produces moisture and condensation during operation. Its body is made of sealed, airtight PE material with no breathability. Wrestling mats are dense and will trap moisture underneath, block air circulation, and cause mold/mildew growth over time. For safety and mold prevention, please keep the unit fully exposed and well-ventilated—do not cover it with any non-breathable mats or items.

how do i cut the mats
Utility knife: score the same line several times, then bend and snap. Jigsaw: easiest and cleanest method for most cuts. Oscillating multitool or fine-tooth saw: good for straight cuts. Heavy shears/tin snips: sometimes work on thinner sections. if this answer does not resolve the current issue, please contact us again for assistance.
