This is not a machine malfunction; the ice maker produces ice in blocks rather than individual cubes. You can adjust the ice thickness setting to a thinner setting to make it easier to remove the ice and separate it into individual cubes. We recommend setting the ice thickness to 2 or 4 for optimal results.
