Can the towing arm be switched to the left side?

Trailer attaches to port side of bike. Picture is misleading. Also be aware that it has a 10 mph limit and is not recommended for e-bikes.

Can the arm be attached to the opposite side?

I suppose so but why? It could interfere with the shifter and it works just fine the way it is designed. Just remove the left side axle nut and install the trailer attachment under it then secure it with the same nut

What material is the bed made of?

On the box the cart came in had a message that it goes a max of 8mph! How can this be? It should go at lease 15mph. It is for an ebike and it goes much faster than the max. Are we really expected to go no faster than 8MPH? That is difficult to believe. Explain the safety issues.

The 8 MPH marked on the box is the official safety recommended speed, not the maximum speed the cart can physically roll. Driving over 8–10 MPH constantly with this trailer will cause trailer sway, unstable steering, longer braking distance, and easily lead to tip-over or accidents. High speed also puts extra pressure on the hitch, frame and wheels. Long-time fast riding may cause structural damage, crack or detachment and safety hazards.
