Since the Tesla Gen 3 wall connector (charger) requires Wi-Fi connectivity, would your metallic Tesla charger station box, which encloses the charger unit inside fully, hinder the Wi-Fi signal transmission?

I believe, this unit designed for wall mounting (out of the box). Is it compatible with a pedestal that is 5 inches wide?
