Can you put a canister filter instead of bag filter on this machine ?

We have never done that before. But if it doesn't affect use, the bag filter on this Dust Collector can be changed into a canister filter.

In the description it states this unit is 2800cfm but when reading the info it states the unit is 1550 cfm. Then in one paragraph it states both 1550cfm and 2800cfm. Which one is correct? Is this unit 1550cfm or 2800cfm?
