I'm confused about the claim that it lasts for 10 hr after removing the power. Does the refrigerator compressor continue to operate for 10 hours or are you just relying on the insulation to keep contents cold for 10 hr?

The specific keeping time depends on the ambient temperature, how many things are put in, and the degree of cooling. The more things are iced, the longer the cold keeping time will be.
