Yes. The 1064 nm, 2 W red-light laser can engrave the inside of gold rings, including jewelers’ hallmarks, purity marks, and personalized text. However, because different gold purities have different engraving characteristics, the provided parameters are intended only for 99.9999% pure gold. Before engraving the actual ring, you should test and optimize the parameters on a sample made of the same material and gold purity as the ring, then apply the confirmed settings to the finished piece.
