Is the color the only differemce between the Gasoline and Diesel products? Im having a hard time determining from the specs what makes this a Gasoline approved model besides the color? Can the larger ones, like 58 gallon or 116 gallon tanks technically be used for gasoline? All of them show they are made with the same materials so whats the real difference between them except the color?
The 48 gallons of red are for gasoline only, the rest are not

While filling with gasoline and inside a truck, I would think a grounding wire would be needed/advised. I don’t see any information about that b
Diesel does not require a ground wire because it has a high ignition point and is not easily ignited. Unless the temperature is exceptionally high, it is very safe under normal outdoor temperatures.

What provision is available for securing to truck bed to avoid shifting and theft? Is the lid able to be securely locked to prevent theft of fuel, hose, pump and/or nozzle?
The lid of the product can be locked. If you want to fix it in the car, you can buy a locking accessory and lock it from the bottom.

What differentiates this Tank from the 58 Gal Diesel ONLY tank?
The capacity is different, and the 58 gallons are dedicated to diesel, while the red one is gasoline.

Can it be used to store used motor oil?
Yes, but the pump is designed for standard clean, super low viscosity diesel fuel so I suspect it would have a harder time pumping the thicker, higher viscosity used motor oil.
