The internal tank rarely needs emptying in standard cooling mode because the unit automatically evaporates most moisture through the exhaust hose.
In high humidity or dehumidifier mode, the unit will stop and display a "Full Water" code when the internal reservoir is maxed out.
To empty it, place a shallow pan under the bottom drain port at the back, remove the rubber plug, and let the gravity-fed water flow out.
