No, not iron. It can melt up to copper. It can also melt aluminum.

It cannot melt iron. Most propane fueled furnaces will not melt iron.

2. We recommend that customers purchase high-temperature cotton curing agent separately for coating. The use of curing agent can reduce volatilisation and prolong the service life of high-temperature cotton. If you do not purchase the curing agent, it will not affect the function of the furnace. You can also wear an N95 mask when using it. We do not have recommended hardeners. You can purchase refractory cement or hardeners that can withstand more than 2700℉ according to the needs of customers.

Dear Customer, Thanks for your inquiry. 1. Our stoves are all free of cement and brushes. Your company has required that they not be equipped since June 2023! So there is no cement and brush in the package.
