I welded a stake pocket to the frame and the carrier slipped into the stake pocket

it goes in the side pockets if you do not have them on your trailer they can be added by welding them on. like my 20 ft. dove tail trailer has 8 of them so use the one that typically does not get used. also use a pocket that has a minium amount of rear view mirror blocking. this will change trailer to trailer and vechicle to vechicle.so just use common sense.

Slide it into a stake pocket. It will only go so far. Has a plate that attaches to bottom with a bolt that is supplied. Will hold it in place.
