Can i use this 3HP VFD to control a three phase 1HP motor? Is it efficient or will it consume more power?
As long as the motor is a three-phase 220V motor, it can be used, and the power is almost unchanged

Does this drive have connections for an external speed control
does the drive start up when power is restored after a power loss
It will not start; if needed, it can be set to run on power-up (parameter P065=2).

Can this drive be programmed to run at certain times? For example, I want to run a pump for 45 minutes 4 times a day at 3 hour intervals.
Relying solely on the frequency converter won’t work; an external timer relay or similar timer is needed. Control the start and stop of the frequency converter through the green terminal of the frequency converter (P011=2, X4, connecting the two terminals, com, starts it; disconnecting stops it).
