Does this unit need to be oiled or greased? We are getting some squeaking noises after using it about 10 times.
Yes. Periodic lubrication is recommended. If you're hearing squeaking after about 10 uses, apply a light machine oil to the moving parts and bearings as described in the user manual. Also check that the rollers, blades, and fasteners are clean, properly aligned, and securely tightened. Avoid over-lubricating the cutting blades.

Fine-Tune: Lower the blade if the jacket isn't cut completely, or raise it if it cuts into the copper wire inside.
Caution: Keep hands and loose clothing clear of the rollers and unplug before making any manual adjustments.

It's very simple.
Setup: Secure the machine to a flat workbench and plug it into a grounded outlet. Ensure the Emergency Stop Switch is released.
Adjust Blade: Match your wire to the correct channel size and turn the top knob to adjust blade height (clockwise to lower, counter-clockwise to raise) so it cuts the insulation without scoring the copper core.
Test & Strip: Turn the machine ON, feed a straight sample wire into the matching channel, and let the motorized rollers pull it through.
